BELITUNG -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk once again showcased products from its fostered MSMEs at Belitung Expo 2026 as part of its efforts to expand product promotion and create broader market opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The exhibition, organized by the Belitung Regency Government to commemorate the 188th Anniversary of Tanjungpandan, was held at Tanjung Pendam Beach Tourism Area from July 1–5, 2026. The event provided a platform for local MSMEs to introduce their products to the public, tourists, and potential business partners.
On this occasion, PT TIMAH featured one of its fostered MSME partners, Asriani, owner of Rusip Asri, Keripik Jagung Asri (Asri Corn Chips), and Kue Semprong Asri. These products represented the diverse culinary specialties of the Bangka Belitung Islands and were introduced to visitors throughout the exhibition.
In addition to Asriani's products, PT TIMAH also promoted various other MSME products at Belitung Expo 2026, ranging from culinary products to fashion.
For Asriani, Belitung Expo was not the first exhibition she had participated in with PT TIMAH. Since becoming a fostered partner in 2016, she has had the opportunity to join numerous exhibitions in cities including Jakarta, Palembang, Lampung, and Yogyakarta.
"Thankfully, today PT TIMAH invited me to participate in Belitung Expo. Since becoming one of PT TIMAH's fostered partners, I have participated in exhibitions in Jakarta, Palembang, Lampung, and Yogyakarta," she said.

For this exhibition, Asriani brought a larger stock of Keripik Jagung Asri, as it is her best-selling product.
Meanwhile, Rusip Asri also attracted significant attention from visitors as it is one of Bangka Belitung's signature traditional foods.
"I have three product lines. Corn chips are always the best seller, so I brought more stock. I also brought around 100 bottles of rusip because many visitors are looking for it," she explained.
Participating in exhibitions facilitated by PT TIMAH has had a significant impact on the growth of her business. Besides increasing sales during the events, the exhibitions have also introduced her products to customers from various regions.
According to Asriani, sales from a single exhibition can generate between IDR 7 million and IDR 10 million. Many customers continue to place online orders even after discovering her products at the exhibition.
"We usually sell out, and sometimes we even run out of stock. After the exhibition ends, many customers continue ordering online," she said.
She added that the more exhibitions she attends, the wider her market reach becomes. Rusip, which was previously known mainly within Bangka Belitung, is now attracting customers from many other regions.
"Since participating in these exhibitions, our sales have continued to increase because more people are becoming familiar with our products, especially rusip. Events like this really help expand our market. Rusip sales can reach between 300 and 500 bottles," she explained.
Asriani also expressed her appreciation for PT TIMAH's support, noting that the company not only provides opportunities to participate in exhibitions but also covers participants' accommodation and transportation.
"I am very grateful to PT TIMAH for continuously inviting MSME entrepreneurs like me to participate in various exhibitions. They also provide accommodation and transportation, which greatly helps us grow our businesses," she said.
She hopes similar opportunities will continue to be provided so that more local MSMEs can introduce their flagship products to wider markets.
"Thank you, PT TIMAH. We hope the company will continue supporting and providing opportunities for MSMEs to grow and become even more successful," she concluded. (*)
