PT TIMAH Helps Ease College Costs, Enabling Wildan to Pursue His Dream of Higher Education

KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality of human resources through educational assistance programs for young people in its operational areas. Most recently, the company provided educational financial aid to Wildan Muzamil Imam, a resident of Tanjung Batu Kota Village, Kundur District, Karimun Regency, to support his pursuit of higher education.

Through this educational assistance program, PT TIMAH aims to help students who are eager to continue their studies but face financial challenges.

Wildan, a graduate of Ar Risalah Islamic School in Padang, West Sumatra, has been accepted into the College of Qur'anic Sciences (STIQ), where he will major in Qur'anic Studies and Exegesis (Tafsir). He shared that he initially struggled to cover the upfront costs of enrolling in college.

"I will use this assistance to pay my college admission fee and transportation expenses. Alhamdulillah, PT TIMAH's support has greatly helped me continue my education at the university level," Wildan said.

He explained that the assistance from PT TIMAH has motivated him to keep pursuing his dreams and continue his education in the field he is passionate about.

"Alhamdulillah, thanks to PT TIMAH's support, I can continue my studies at the university I have always wanted to attend. God willing, I will gain valuable knowledge and achieve my dreams," he said.

Wildan also expressed his hope that PT TIMAH's educational assistance program will continue so that more students will have the opportunity to pursue higher education.

"I hope PT TIMAH's educational assistance program continues so that more students can receive support to further their education. I wish PT TIMAH continued success, growth, and the ability to keep making a positive impact on the community," he added.

PT TIMAH has consistently supported education throughout its operational areas through various initiatives, including the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program, educational infrastructure assistance, and teacher capacity-building programs such as the National Literacy Movement (Gernas Tastaka) and teacher literacy development initiatives.
